Surah No. 14, Ibrahim, Ayat No. 34
And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allâh, you will never be able to count them. In fact ! man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever.
Surah No. 23, Al Mominoon, Ayat No. 78
It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling, and understanding: but you give little thanks.
Surah No. 41, As Sajdah (Fusilat), Ayat No. 51
And when We show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away; but when evil touches him, then he goes for lengthy supplications (Dua).
Surah No.102, At Takasur, Ayat No. 8
Then, on that Day, you will surely be asked about the delights. (You were indulged with them in this world)!
Allah had given innumerable delights (favours) to human being in this world, but the people who are enjoying with those delights are unaware of them. For instance, the wealth, the houses, the articles of necessities in the houses, means of communication, the food, the children, the wives, the relatives, the friends, good neighbours and good health, etc.etc. In the Hereafter, a man is going to be questioned and those who are always grateful to the above delights will taste the success.
Fovours of Allah in the hereafter are very well described in Surah No. 55, Ar Rahman.
Paying thanks to Allah should be by way of doing good deeds and act strictly according to the guidelines provided in the holy Book.
