40. Protect the Property of the Orphans
Surah No. 4, An Nisa, Ayat No. 6
Translation :
Take care the orphans until they reach the age of marriage; then if you find in them understanding and sound judgement then hand over their property to them; but do not spend it wastefully, nor in haste while they grow. If the guardian is well-off, he should not claim any remuneration, but if he is poor, let him use for himself what is reasonable. When you hand over their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: but Allah is sufficient in taking account.
Surah No. 4, An Nisa, Ayat No. 10
Translation :
Those who unjustly eat up the property of orphans, eat up a Fire into their own bellies: they will soon be admitted in a blazing Fire !
Surah No. 17, Al Isra (Bani Israil), Part of Ayat No. 34
Translation :
And do not come near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full maturity.
