74. Procedure to attend Assemblies

Surah No. 58, Ar Mujadilah, Ayat No. 11

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوا فِي الْمَجَالِسِ فَافْسَحُوا يَفْسَحِ اللَّهُ

لَكُمْ وَإِذَا قِيلَ انشُزُوا فَانشُزُوا يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ

o دَرَجَاتٍ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

Translation :

O believers ! When you are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: Allah will provide you ample room. And when you are told to rise up, you rise up: Allah will raise up those of you who believe and who have been granted Knowledge: and Allah is well-acquainted with all you do.
